Squamish is surrounded by spectacular nature providing a wealth of world class outdoor recreation opportunities. From Canada's premier rock climbing to some of the world's best mountain biking to endless trails through old growth temperate rain forest and high alpine walks through meadows ablaze in flower....Squamish offers it all.
With five major rivers entering the Squamish Valley and combined with our position at the head of a spectacular ocean fiord (Howe Sound) all sorts of water-based recreation is available. From challenging white water rafting and kayaking to ocean kayaking, voyager canoe trips, scuba diving, fishing, windsurfing and now kite boarding...the list goes on.
You can explore vast high alpine terrain by snowmobile or back country logging roads by ATV or forest trails by horseback. Visit in the winter and see the amazing spectacle of hundreds of bald eagles feeding on the corpses of spawned out salmon.
Our location at the heart of the Sea to Sky Corridor and proximity to the spectacular resort of Whilster/Blackcomb, all of which can be accessed from our Lodge, makes a stay in this area an endless adventure with new opportunties for exploration every day.
At Coneybeare Lodge we specialize in helping our guests experience the natural wonders of our area. We can either:
